Favorite part of event planning: Taking a deep dive into all the logistics and ensuring the pieces of the puzzle really fit together. For example, I love looking at a rental order to make sure there are the exact number of tables, linens, cups, etc… AND figuring out the steps from rentals being delivered, laid out, used and then packed up.
Coolest thing you’ve ever seen at a wedding: There are so many special moments that come to mind. One that comes to mind is the vintage Love Meter that was at Brooke and Rachel’s wedding - what a great reason to go on an Ebay deep dive!

Favorite part of event planning: My favorite part of event planning is event day!!! While I love the puzzle of logistics and the creativity of the planning process, there is something so satisfying and rewarding about actually pulling it all off and being with people on their happiest day! We get to help people create lifelong memories and as the planners, we also get to witness the special little moments that guests typically aren’t a part of, like first looks and parent reveals (which almost always make me cry :)
Coolest thing you’ve ever seen at a wedding: One of the coolest and sweetest things I’ve seen at a wedding recently was the ‘Museum of Conner and Emily’. The cocktail hour space was jam packed with a collection of things that were near and dear to them: Arrested Development playing on the TV, a framed movie receipt from their first date, childhood photos, ceramic bowls they made that displayed stickers of April Ludgate and temporary tattoos of the couple’s animals… it was so different and sweet and it really made their wedding feel like THEM!
