Meet Rebecca, better known as Rebs, founder and director of Events by Rebs, a full-service event planning company based in Durham, North Carolina. With a passion for creating memorable experiences and an eye for detail, Rebs leads her talented team in bringing her clients' visions to life, whether it's an intimate celebration or a large-scale gathering.
Rebecca brings vision, creativity, and expertise to every project. Working closely with each event to understand the unique needs, values, preferences, and budget. She oversees a thoughtfully trained team of professionals who handle the detailed coordination and execution, bringing her high standards and collaborative spirit to every element of an event, so clients can focus on being present and truly enjoying.
Rebs moved to Durham in 2015 with the intention of trying it out for one year. Over 11 years later she continues to build strong connections within Durham, Chapel Hill, and the rest of The Triangle. Prior to opening her business in 2022, Rebecca spent eight years engaging communities in The Triangle through strategic community-building initiatives.
She lives with her husband, Abani, and two cats, Penny and Ori. They love working on their garden as a family.
